State College got a terrific performance from pitcher Blonde345, but it wasn't enough to beat the Amarillo Armadillos. Amarillo won the Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium contest, 3-2. Blonde345 threw 8.0 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. Garlic Bread notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Armadillos.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Brent Goldberg to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

State College manager said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
