The inspired effort of State College first baseman Brian Taylor was not enough to prevent a loss, 11-10, to the California Firehawks. Taylor went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 4 runs. The win for the Firehawks raised their record to 52-40.

Iain-James Crichton was the walk-off hero for California. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Firehawks first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
