The Amarillo Armadillos did just enough to secure a victory over the Anchorage Wheelers, 2-1, at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod. Nobody did more than pitcher Alfonso Bonso. Amarillo has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

The Armadillos got an important contribution from first baseman Stuart, who in the bottom of the third knocked a full count slider into right for a run-scoring double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Armadillos ahead, 2-0.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Bonso said after the game.
