The Kansas City Hepcats defeated the Anchorage Wheelers, 8-7, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Kansas City was led by 21-year old right fielder Josh Kupu, who was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Kansas City pitcher Bendrick Hollows earned the win, hiking his record to 9-8. Alex Kidd suffered the loss. Kansas City now has a record of 54-38 with the win.
