The California Firehawks went home winners at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons, thanks in large part to starter Bill Pitt. Pitt stifled the Anchorage Wheelers, enabling California to grab the 2-0 win. In 5 innings, Pitt surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Capsaicin Shrub converted his 9th save in 15 tries.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Snek dealt the Wheelers a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and California leading 1-0, Snek hit a first pitch splitter for a run-scoring single.
