Brew City second baseman Sting Eucliffe contributed to his team's 7-4 win over the Amarillo Armadillos. Eucliffe, who is tied for 7th in the MiLPBE in extra base hits with 30, went 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bears. Brigham Irons earned the win to go to 7-4. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, with no walks and 3 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work. Brew City now has a 3-game win streak.

The Bears got an important contribution from first baseman Ai Mcfish, who in the bottom of the third knocked a 0-1 fastball into center for a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Bears ahead, 4-1.

Mcfish said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
