The Anchorage Wheelers picked up a win at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, knocking off the California Firehawks, 4-3. Starting pitcher Oilohnroc Yttef was a big reason why. Anchorage reliever Kip Treadwell picked up the win, upping his record to 1-7. Jose Forty-Three 24/7 absorbed the loss. Anchorage has now won 3 in a row.

Jessica Comeau was the walk-off hero for Anchorage. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wheelers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said California manager . "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
