Puerto Rico used a superb performance from starting pitcher Jean-Jacques François Jacques-Jean to down the Brew City Bears, 2-1. The winner in relief was Kerr Mitt. He is now 3-3. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. Puerto Rico, with the win, is 26-68.

Puerto Rico used the timely hitting of Pcott Soe to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ranas on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Puerto Rico manager .
