Armadillos Rally Late to Clip Louisville
Thanks in large part to second baseman Marcus Otatop, the Amarillo Armadillos clipped the Louisville Lemurs, 5-4, in 11 innings. Otatop was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Rene-Antoine LePouvoirs notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. The Armadillos got a clutch hit from designated hitter Beau Mathews. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Armadillos.
