Behind a fine performance from Thicker Thick McThicc, the Brew City Bears knocked off the Amarillo Armadillos, 5-4. McThicc went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles for the Bears. Earning his 10th save of the year was Kenny DeNunez. Brew City raised its record to 46-46 with the win.
In the top of the fifth, Brew City catcher Taco had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and two out, Taco stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 3-2, Brew City. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
