A 3-RBI performance from Srevor Tory, who is tied for 9th in the MiLPBE in RBI with 65, helped the Brew City Bears beat the State College Swift Steeds , 9-5. Nolan Briggs nailed down his 1st save. The Bears improved their record to 54-41 by beating State College.

Tory contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Brew City in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Tory took a cutter from Derek Kirkland and stroked the home run to left-center. His 20th home run of the season allowed the Bears to leap in front, 2-1.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Tory told the Brew City Observer. "It's as simple as that."
