The Chicago Kingpins picked up a win at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, dropping the Anchorage Wheelers, 6-4. Avery Time, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE in wins with 12, was the difference-maker. Time yielded 3 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 12-4. Jazz Hands earned the save for Chicago, his 4th of the year.

It could have been a different outcome for Chicago, had it not been for Boots Poffenberger, the 22-year old designated hitter . Poffenberger contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Chicago up, 2-0.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Poffenberger. "You've got to get results."
