The 16-4 Amarillo win over Anchorage was due in large part to Palin Drome. The Armadillos left fielder went 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Amarillo improves to 56-37 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.

Drome contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Amarillo get the win.
