With second baseman Enrique von Caliente leading the charge, the Vancouver Vandals defeated the Providence Crabs, 4-3, at The Pot. von Caliente, who led the Legends in on-base percentage with .414 in 2070, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Alejandro Abasi collected save number 2. With the loss, Providence sinks to 11-6.

Vancouver took a 4-1 lead on von Caliente's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Iceman in the top of the sixth, propelled Vancouver to the win.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Providence manager .
