Tom E. Jahns pitched a gem to lead Amarillo to victory over the Florida Flamingos, 2-0. Big Rooster closed the door for Amarillo, picking up his 13th save of the year. The win for the Armadillos lifted their record to 51-45.

Jahns, who was born in Atlanta, Georgia, threw 107 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Jahns told the Amarillo News.
