The Anchorage Wheelers and Louisville Lemurs delighted fans at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle.
Louisville right fielder Samuel Sheeping contributed significantly to his team's 6-4 win over the Anchorage Wheelers. Sheeping, who is tied for 7th in the MiLPBE in extra base hits with 33, went 2 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Lemurs. The win belonged to Adeline King in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Greg Buse took the loss for Anchorage. Getting the save was Glenn Snaps, his 12th.
Andrew BroChacho, who is tied for 10th in the MiLPBE in total bases with 187, contributed to the Louisville win with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said BroChacho.
Louisville has now won 5 games in a row.
