Spinosaurus Bill was instrumental in his team's 14-11 triumph over the Puerto Rico Ranas. The shortstop went 4-6 with 3 doubles and a walk, while scoring 4 and driving in 3 for the Florida Flamingos. Florida reliever Extremely Confident was the winner. His record is now 6-1. The losing pitcher was Harry Berry. With the win, Florida raised its record to 55-38.

Florida used a timely hit from Stephen McCloud to get the win. The center fielder stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 14-11. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"This was a good win for us," said McCloud. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
