Florida Beats Louisville, 2-1
|
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Florida Flamingos and Louisville Lemurs came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
Florida Flamingos starter Wade Cilliams Jr. worked his magic, as he helped his team defeat the Louisville Lemurs, 2-1. Their 54-39 record puts the Flamingos second in the East Division.
Waxillium Summers, the 21-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Summers contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the sixth inning to put Florida up, 2-0.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Louisville manager said following the tough loss.
