Rainier Pops Two Homers in 7-4 Win for Brew City

The Brew City Bears stopped the Puerto Rico Ranas, 7-4, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. The Bears got a big game from J.B. Rainier, who hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Pizzanator III, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 2. His record now stands at 8-4. The win elevated the Bears to 50-46.
With two out in the bottom of the fifth, Launch Angle barreled up a sinker from Ottov Yeoj. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Bears in front, 5-2.
