Amarillo got a strong outing from Crabtin Crunch Jr. as the Armadillos defeated the Louisville Lemurs, 3-1, at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. Tayalamp Battalemo got the save, his 13th in 21 chances. The setback makes Louisville 55-42.
The Armadillos got a big at-bat from left fielder Ben Martin. For the game, Martin was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 23rd home run of the season gave Amarillo a 2-0 lead.
