Pim Pimling, who is tied for 3rd in the MiLPBE in strikeouts with 118, was locked in. The left-hander led the Louisville Lemurs to a 5-3 win against the State College Swift Steeds at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Louisville reliever Glenn Snaps snagged the win, upping his record to 4-3. Bibi Kimura shouldered the loss. The win gives Louisville a season record of 55-42.

Had Cal Covid not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Covid hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Lemurs.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Pimling.
