Armadillos Suffer 6-3 Setback
|
State College first baseman Kota Mizushima made his presence felt in the 6-3 Swift Steeds triumph over the Amarillo Armadillos. Mizushima was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. State College is now 42-52, Amarillo 56-38.
In the bottom of the fourth, Ulysses Ballion delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the State College second baseman hit a 2-run double, putting the Swift Steeds in front, 6-3.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Mizushima told the State College Citizen.
