Anchorage Wheelers starter Thunder Miller was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Puerto Rico Ranas, 5-1. The win for the Wheelers lifted their record to 55-39.

Stanley Danks dealt the Ranas a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Anchorage leading 1-0, Danks hit a 2-1 changeup for a 2-run single.
