Ranas Deal Anchorage 6-1 Defeat
|
The Puerto Rico Ranas topped the Anchorage Wheelers, 6-1, in Minor League PBE action at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Puerto Rico pitcher Lucas Trenson. Kerr Mitt [BOT] picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-7. Elijah Rosado suffered the loss. The win gives the Ranas a record of 23-74.
Cai Brummer, who is tied for 3rd in the MiLPBE in triples with 3, helped out the Puerto Rico cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 3 with a walk.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Trenson said after the game.
