Hepcats Win, 5-3, at Anchorage
|
The Kansas City Hepcats picked up a win at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, knocking off the Anchorage Wheelers, 5-3. Starting pitcher Biggus Tittious Smittious was a big reason why. Kansas City has 3 straight wins, Anchorage 3 straight losses.
Kansas City relied on the hitting of Ford Lincoln-Mercury to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Hepcats on top, 5-0. For the game, Lincoln-Mercury had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Biggus Tittious just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Kansas City manager .
