The Amarillo Armadillos picked up a win at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod, knocking off the California Firehawks, 7-1. On the mound for Amarillo was right-hander Jasper Windt, who played a pivotal role in the win. Amarillo, at 61-37, is 6½ games up in the West Division.

Marcus Otatop, who is the 10th-best prospect in the Armadillos organization, chipped in for Amarillo with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.
