The Anchorage Wheelers got a sterling performance from pitcher Richard Dick, but the Brew City Bears still prevailed, 6-3. Dick threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. James Noble picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-3. Willie MacDougal was tagged with the loss. Anchorage has now lost 5 straight.

Lara Croft had a clutch at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for the Bears. Coming up with the bases loaded and Brew City trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.

"We did a lot of things right," said Croft.
