The Brew City Bears and starting pitcher Shota Takahashi stifled the State College offense en route to a comfortable 8-1 win at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Brew City is now 56-42, State College 45-53.

The Bears had to work out of trouble in the top of the seventh. The score was 7-0, Brew City, with one out. State College, with the bases loaded, was mounting a threat. Paddington Von Pippington dug in at the plate, but on a first pitch splitter, he hit into a double play.
