Hepcats Take Nail-Biter Over Kingpins
|
The Kansas City Hepcats defeated the Chicago Kingpins, 6-5, in part because of second baseman Theodor Geisel. Geisel was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times for the Hepcats. After today's action, Kansas City sits at 52-47, while Chicago falls to 50-49.
The Hepcats got a clutch hit from catcher Jacopo Reddick. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hepcats.
