Wheelers Victors, 11-5, at Florida
|
Logan Wetzel was a major factor in the 11-5 Anchorage win over Florida. The Wheelers left fielder was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Wheelers raised their record to 39-61.
In the top of the second, Anchorage right fielder Keon Lennedy had a run-producing at-bat. Facing Florida hurler Richard Fox, Lennedy hit a sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Anchorage. For the day, Lennedy was 1 for 4.
"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Lennedy, "one at-bat at a time."
