Kingpins Stymied by Flamingos, Mixon
|
Pitcher Stetson Mixon was sensational for the Florida Flamingos in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Chicago Kingpins. Mixon earned the win. The loss makes Chicago 52-48.
Mixon was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 10-8. In 8.2 innings of work, Mixon gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 5. The Kingpins were never able to generate much offense.
