Squatch, Lemurs Serve Up 6-3 Win
The umbrellas came out during the Louisville-Kansas City contest at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good.

Behind a solid performance from first baseman Man Squatch, the Louisville Lemurs defeated the Kansas City Hepcats, 6-3. Squatch was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Lemurs. Pim Pimling earned the win for Louisville. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 12-5.

Wet Sock came through with a big-time hit for Louisville. The left fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Louisville manager was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.

Louisville, at 57-44, is 3 games up in the East Division.
