The Kansas City Hepcats and State College Swift Steeds were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

State College Swift Steeds starter Archie Richards was in fine form against the Kansas City Hepcats at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium, leading his team to a win, 5-2. Richards, the winner, moves to 7-9. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks.

State College took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Green-Chilaquil Phan stroked a 2-run single to make it 4-2, Swift Steeds .

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Phan.
