Firehawks Roll to 8-1 Win Over Flamingos
|
The California Firehawks beat the Florida Flamingos, 8-1, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Starting pitcher David Sears was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The triumph puts California at 58-43 for the season.
In the bottom of the third, California right fielder Coleman Carver had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Carver stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 4-1, California. For the game, he went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs.
