Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

In a tight contest between the Amarillo Armadillos and the Louisville Lemurs, Marsh Mellow Jr. was the determining factor. The Amarillo right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. Tayalamp Battalemo earned the save for Amarillo, his 13th of the year.

Kveta Vlková had a direct impact on the outcome. Vlková contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Amarillo up, 2-1.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Louisville manager . "We just didn't cash in."

With the victory, the Armadillos upped their record to 51-50.
