Vandals Beat Visiting Surge, 4-1
|
Johnny Tatum pitched a gem to lead Vancouver to victory over the Buffalo Surge, 4-1. Buffalo falls to 12-6.
Enrique von Caliente hit a 2-run home run off Ren Toltraid in the bottom of the first, which put the Vandals ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, von Caliente had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Tatum told the Vancouver Gazette.
