The Providence Crabs defeated the Vancouver Vandals, 6-5. Second Baseman Migs Mayfeld deserved a large share of the credit. Mayfeld went 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Crabs. Randy Colón recorded his 5th save for Providence. Providence, with the win, is 12-6.

Providence took a 6-5 lead on Hurri Quake's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Quake hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Vancouver pitcher Lucas Greep visibly frustrated.

"We took home the win," said Quake. "What's not to like?"
