Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good was the site of a competitive game between the Florida Flamingos and Kansas City Hepcats.
The Kansas City Hepcats rode a solid performance from 22-year-old starting pitcher Matt Buster to a win, beating the Florida Flamingos, 4-2, at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. Kansas City now sits at 52-51, while Florida falls to 55-48.
The Hepcats got a big at-bat from first baseman Super Creek. For the game, Creek was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Kansas City a 2-0 lead.
