The Amarillo Armadillos got a magnificent effort from pitcher Kaitlyn Montreal, who kept State College hitters in check en route to a 2-0 Armadillos win at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. Amarillo now sits at 50-53, while State College falls to 48-55.

Marcus Otatop drove in one run for Amarillo. The 23-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Aoife Carter. It was his 38th RBI of the season.

Otatop called the win "a collective effort."
