The State College Swift Steeds racked up a win at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium, bumping off the Brew City Bears, 7-5. Crabtin Crunch, who started for State College, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, State College raised its record to 56-47.

D.W. Dogmaple had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for State College. With the bases loaded and the Swift Steeds leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
