Bears Suffer 3-1 Setback
|
California Firehawks starter Cash Considerations was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Brew City Bears, 3-1. In 5.2 innings, Considerations surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. California, now 44-57, holds down last place in the West Division.
The Firehawks got a big at-bat from third baseman Nick Scott. For the game, Scott was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 15th double of the season gave California a 2-1 lead.
"We had a good game plan," Considerations said, "and we were able to execute it."
