Toros Absorb 7-4 Loss at The Brickyard
The Indianapolis Apex knocked off the Cancun Toros, 7-4, in Champions Conference action at The Brickyard. Indianapolis pitcher and Toronto, Canada, native Biggus Tittious Smittious had an outstanding performance. The winner was Smittious. He threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was John Cowgill. The win has Indianapolis at 8-10.

Commander Warsmoke had a big run-scoring double for the Apex in the bottom of the first inning. With Indianapolis leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a circle change from two-time All-Star John Cowgill and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Apex ahead, 2-0.
