Bears Tuck Away 5-1 Win Over Puerto Rico
|
Brew City starter Maru Zensky kept the Puerto Rico offense from doing much damage. The left-hander leaned on his circle change in leading the Bears to a 5-1 win. Zensky, the winner, moves to 13-9. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk. With the win, Brew City has a record of 61-44. Puerto Rico falls to 25-80.
The tide might have turned in the top of the second, had not Maru Zensky made a big pitch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Ranas trailing 2-0, he retired Julian Ulloa when the Puerto Rico catcher grounded out.
