The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the State College Swift Steeds , 6-4, in part because of second baseman Mortimer Dog. Dog went 2 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Armadillos. The Amarillo win streak is now 3 games.
