Bears Lose to Swift Steeds in Walk Off
|
The State College Swift Steeds relied on the hitting of catcher Emidas Blair to stop the Brew City Bears, 4-3. For the game, Blair belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. State College now has a 5-game win streak.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With no one out, Blair hit a cutter from Paj Bobba for a solo home run. The Swift Steeds , in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
Blair described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
