Brew City and Amarillo duked it out and the Bears came out victorious.

The Brew City Bears used the hitting of center fielder Videl Valor III to subdue the Amarillo Armadillos, 5-3. For the game, Valor III was 1 for 1 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Brew City reliever Xavier Zickafoose was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Marsh Mellow Jr. took the loss. Getting the save was Pedro Papelbottom, his 2nd.

Valor III had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 screwball from Oil Can Sampson, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Bears a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Valor III.

In postgame comments to the Brew City Chronicle, Valor III said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

The win for the Bears lifted their record to 60-46.
