Lemurs Rally Late to Clip California
The California Firehawks got a superb performance from pitcher Adam Whittom, but the Louisville Lemurs still won the game, 4-3. Whittom threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball. Gunther Gerhardt earned his 15th save, after closing out the game. California has now lost 5 straight.

Louisville used the timely hitting of Speedy McFly Jr. to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lemurs on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
