Anchorage rode a fine outing from starter Scud Muffin to victory over the Amarillo Armadillos at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. The final score was 5-2. Dahmir Lucas earned the save, his 9th, for the Wheelers. Anchorage is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Wheelers got a big at-bat from center fielder Myles Meredith. For the game, Meredith was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 25th home run of the season gave Anchorage a 3-0 lead.
