The Anchorage Wheelers knocked off the Amarillo Armadillos, 5-3, in Minor League PBE action at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Anchorage pitcher and Longview, Texas, native Marc Jackson had an outstanding performance. The last-place Wheelers now sit at 47-61.

Amarillo had runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the eighth. With no one out, Kveta Vlková stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he hit into a double play. The score remained 4-2, Anchorage. The Armadillos never could mount a comeback.
