Saejima Bangs Out 5 Base Hits
Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Taiga Saejima walloped 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Chicago Kingpins in a career day at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, but it was the Anchorage Wheelers who won the ballgame, 12-5.

"My swing was really, really there," Saejima said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-5 and losing is better than 0-for-5 and losing, right?"

Taiga Saejima singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
