Flamingos Tuck Away 7-4 Win Over Louisville
|
The Florida Flamingos knocked off the Louisville Lemurs, 7-4, at Florida Man Park. Alan Greer was a big reason Florida won. The center fielder went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs. Lilyin Blue notched his 7th save of the season. Florida leads the East Division by 10 games.
Atlas Sluggs, who is tied for 3rd in the MiLPBE in bases on balls with 64, helped out the Florida cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"I felt good up there," said Sluggs. "I saw the ball well."
