Armadillos Rally to Beat Swift Steeds , 4-2

The Amarillo Armadillos faced a tough opponent in State College pitcher Oze Bones, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium by a final score of 4-2. Bones went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Amarillo reliever Sasha Sinitarraa picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Non-Disclosure Agreement shouldered the loss. Picking up the save was Garlic Bread. He's now 1 for 3 in save chances.
Amarillo used the timely hitting of Barker Bubbs to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Bubbs said.
State College's current losing streak is now 4 games.
