The Brew City Bears overcame a good performance by Kansas City designated hitter Cason Warwick to knock off Kansas City, 8-6, at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Warwick went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The third-place Bears improved to 61-47.

Brew City took a 8-6 lead on Tursi DeHaye's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Kansas City pitcher Dennis Martinez in the bottom of the eighth.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," DeHaye told the Brew City Chronicle.
