|
Puerto Rico registered a win at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium by beating the California Firehawks, 5-2. Pitcher Ottov Yeoj [BOT] was one reason why the Ranas triumphed. California has now lost 4 straight.
Pcott Soe [BOT] had a big solo home run for the Ranas in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Puerto Rico leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a sinker from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Ingrid Keelhauler and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Ranas on top, 2-0.
