Amarillo beat California at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to left fielder Palin Drome. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The second-place Armadillos have won 7 consecutive games.
Kries Von Kriestalhauser, the 21-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Von Kriestalhauser contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Amarillo up, 1-0.
