On Road, Brew City Drops Anchorage, 4-2

The Brew City Bears weathered a fine game by Anchorage left fielder Zen Bobrist to upend the Wheelers, 4-2, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Bobrist went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Bryce Wheeler nailed down his 4th save. The first-place Wheelers have lost 4 straight games.
Brew City first baseman Lara Croft contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a cutter into center field for a 2-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Bears ahead, 3-0.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Brew City manager .
