Rob Littleton made an impact in the 7-6 Anchorage win over Brew City. Littleton, who is rated as the 12th best prospect by BNN, was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Anchorage reliever Rawburt Grimes picked up the win to move to 1-0. Whirlwind Von Helwick suffered the loss. The Wheelers lead the West Division by 2 games.
The Wheelers relied on third baseman Austen Webb for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
