Kingpins Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Hepcats
|
The Kansas City Hepcats and Chicago Kingpins put on quite a show.
The Kansas City Hepcats defeated the Chicago Kingpins, 6-5, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Kansas City first baseman A.J. Justice had a superb performance. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The slumping Kingpins have dropped 6 in a row.
Kansas City took a 6-5 lead on Cason Warwick's 18th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Warwick hit in the top of the 13th, left Chicago pitcher Bauer Bottom shaking his head.
"We found a way to get it done," Warwick said.
