Wheelers Run Win Streak to 8
|
The Anchorage Wheelers picked up a win at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium, taking down the Puerto Rico Ranas, 6-2. Starting pitcher Oilohnroc Yttef was a big reason why. Yttef got the win, improving to 11-10. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Yttef allowed 1 run. Willie MacDougal was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 10 save opportunities.
Cassius Considerations had a critical at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for Anchorage. He came through with a 2-run single to put Anchorage in front, 2-1.

Anchorage has now reeled off 8 straight wins.
