Toros Pull Off Thrilling 14-9 Win in Extras
The inspired effort of Buffalo designated hitter Manny Alou was not enough to prevent a loss, 14-9, to the Cancun Toros. Alou slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Roquefort Cotswald, credited with the win, is now 6-6. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits. With the win, the Toros have a record of 59-36.

Cancun used the clutch hitting of Troy Murphy to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Toros ahead, 10-9. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
