Doug Leads Sea Serpents to 8-6 Win Over Crabs
The Seattle Sea Serpents beat the Providence Crabs, 8-6, at The Aquadome. The win was due in part to second baseman David Doug, who went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Hex Waters V. The last-place Sea Serpents raised their record to 36-60.

Doug contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Seattle in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 4-2, Doug took a fastball from LeSean Maximus Marbondalenny Pitchlord and stroked the home run to left-center. His 17th home run of the season allowed the Sea Serpents to leap in front, 5-4.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Doug told the Seattle Today.
