Voyagers Pick Up 3-1 Win Against San Antonio
|
The New York Voyagers picked up a win at Vaughn's House, topping the San Antonio Sloths, 3-1. On the mound for New York was left-hander Joey Moose Jr.. He played a principal role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Moose Jr., now 4-0. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. Getting the save was Ransom Jones, his 6th.
Adam-Cole Bay-Bay, who is tied for 7th in the Legends in stolen bases with 9, came through for New York with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. The second baseman went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 1 run batted in.
Bay-Bay expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
The victory makes New York 14-4.
