The Detroit Demons beat the Boise Raptors, 5-3, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Detroit catcher Biff Slamous had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Thorne Belfour wrapped it up, recording his 4th save. For the Raptors, the loss makes them 6-13.

Slamous had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 slider from Anne Dieu-le-Veut, he banged a 2-run home run to center, giving the Demons a 5-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Slamous.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Slamous.
