Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Death Valley Scorpions and Detroit Demons.

Death Valley starter Always A. Bummus had a strong outing against the Detroit Demons at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Ray Xavier recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 10 for 14.

The Scorpions got a big at-bat from shortstop Literal Flamingo. For the game, Flamingo went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 23rd double of the season gave Death Valley a 2-1 lead.

Flamingo called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The win for the Scorpions lifted their record to 51-48.
